Originated from Bolton, formed in 1963. The Atlanta Roots recorded Plastic Daffodils at Hollick and Taylor studios in Birmingham in 1967. Recording dubbed directly from acetate. Group disbanded in 1967 with certain members forming Mother's Pride in 1968 (see entry).
