Born and raised in St. Lucia, Malcolm Magaron arrived in the UK in 1960. Fronted his first band, The Q Set with a regular slot at the Bag O'Nails club in Soho, London. Auditioned for the musical HAIR in 1969 and toured with the production company throughout Europe. Magaron became one of the band members in The Aquarians before joining the Les Humphries Singers.
