Peanut Rubble

Peanut Rubble

Peanut Rubble originated from Buckinghamshire circa 1967. Recordings made at Radio Luxembourg studios in 1968. They supported bands such as the Pretty Things and Pink Floyd, but failed to earn a recording contract at the time. They shortened their name to Rubble in the early seventies before splitting up shortly after. Derik Timms went on to form Twigg before joining Brewer's Droop. Brewer's Droop went on to feature Mark Knopfler before he formed Dire Straits. Timms went onto play alongside people such as Van Morrison, George Harrison and Dave Edmunds.
